Vibrant was not just a magazine assignment. It was a place for cultures to come together and thrive. It was a vessel for the duality of both originality and unity.

Not only do we want to inform our readers about the vast world of fashion and its connection to culture on a global level, but reinforce a positivity of expressing one’s heritage. Diversification is beautiful.

Uniting culture, fashion and our global world to bring awareness to independent designers and ethnic tradition. The examination of the power & use of colors, fabrics and designs in various societies brings understanding to the craftsmanship, as well as the influence of cultural heritage in a modern world. We wish to touch upon hot-button issues such as cultural appropriation and how globalization has impacted the fashion world we live in today. Ultimately, however, we want our articles, editorials, photographs and topics to inspire our readers. Our goal is to celebrate the exchange of information and culture, specifically through fashion as the key medium.

Living in a mobile world brings an individual outside of their comfort zone, while opening their mind to lesser-known designers based in that area. Our focus on this aspect is binary: 1.) to give exposure to independent designers specific to areas around the world, and 2.) connect every individual’s pride in heritage with their present-day styles.
